Giclée printing is a high-resolution inkjet printing process widely used for fine art reproductions and museum-quality photographic prints. Compared with conventional poster printing, it offers smoother tonal gradations, greater color accuracy, and exceptional detail—capturing everything from the finest brushstrokes and soft washes of color to the quiet beauty of negative space.

For example, the finest pencil lines, the gentle tonal transitions of watercolor, and the subtle textures that only hand-painted artwork can create.

By faithfully preserving these delicate details, each print retains the depth, atmosphere, and presence of the original artwork—offering an experience that goes far beyond an ordinary poster.

At [Rom.] Creative Studio, we carefully select either 100% cotton fine art paper or traditional Japanese washi paper for each artwork. Every combination is chosen with consideration for how the ink is absorbed, how colors settle into the paper, and how negative space is perceived.

Rather than a glossy finish, our prints feature a soft, matte surface that quietly complements the surrounding interior without overwhelming it. Yet when viewed up close, the subtle details of each line and color still reveal the warmth and character of the artist's hand.
